Basketball Game Preview: North Side Gators vs. Riverside Bulldogs

The North Side Gators are taking a road trip to face off against the Riverside Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on North Side, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, North Side turned things around against Charleston on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 36-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gators have posted since November 21, 2023.

Meanwhile, Riverside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 36-31 to Leflore County.

North Side's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Riverside, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

North Side came up short against Riverside in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 49-42. Can North Side avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
