Hickory Ridge hasn't lost a match since August 25th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They never let the Olympic Trojans get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Given Hickory Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Olympic are ranked 135th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brady Golden and Ibrahim Diallo scored both of Hickory Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Hickory Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for Olympic, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-3.
