Basketball Game Preview: Rio Vista Eagles vs. Cisco Loboes

The Rio Vista Eagles will face off against the Cisco Loboes at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Rio Vista is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.

Rio Vista is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mildred just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 68-43 to the Eagles.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jake Mcwhorter, who posted nine points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Ashton Huey, who earned two points along with six assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, Cisco didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tolar on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win.

Cisco's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Rio Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
