Basketball Game Preview: North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles vs. Mainland Buccaneers

The North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles will face off against the Mainland Buccaneers at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Florida Educational Institute is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, North Florida Educational Institute lost to University Christian on the road by a 67-50 margin. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 414th, while the Christians are ranked 58th).

Meanwhile, Mainland strolled past Colonial with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 58-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.

Mainland now has a winning record of 9-8. As for North Florida Educational Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
