Soccer Recap: Pilgrim Comes Up Short

Pilgrim was the 3-2 winner over Newbury Park Adventist when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Gators by a score of 4-3 on Thursday.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newbury Park Adventist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pilgrim will face off against rival Ojai Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Newbury Park Adventist is set to take on their familiar foe Lighthouse Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
