Basketball Recap: Philadelphia Electric Charter Comes Up Short

Philadelphia Electric Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They fell 50-41 to the Belmont Charter Tigers. That's two games in a row now that Philadelphia Electric Charter has lost by exactly nine points.

Belmont Charter found their leader in sophomore Zymir Dessus, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Dessus. Willie Williams was another key player, putting up nine points.

Philadelphia Electric Charter's record now sits at 0-14. As for Belmont Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Philadelphia Electric Charter will venture away from home to square off against Tournament Opponent on Saturday. As for Belmont Charter, they will face off against Bodine at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Bodine will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Belmont Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
