Volleyball Recap: Penns Manor Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Penns Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homer-Center Wildcats. The Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 17-25, 25-21.

Homer-Center got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashlyn Yount out in front who had 32 assists and eight digs. Yount is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Joss Bence, who had nine digs, two blocks, and two aces.

Penns Manor's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Homer-Center, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Penns Manor will challenge Purchase Line at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Homer-Center, they will take on Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
