Volleyball Recap: Morgan Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hale Ray, Morgan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the East Haven Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: East Haven scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-19, 25-19.

Emma Teuner paced Morgan's offense, picking up 15 kills. Teuner got some help from Avery Vece and her 29 assists. Teuner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Morgan has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for East Haven, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

As of now, neither Morgan nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
