Football Recap: Waterville Indians vs. Tupper Lake Lumberjacks

After flying high against Clinton last Saturday, Waterville came back down to earth. The Waterville Indians were beaten by the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks 38-6 on Friday. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Tupper Lake's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Shannon, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Those 129 rushing yards gave Shannon a new career-high. Garrett Pelkey made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
