Pipestone came out on top against Luverne  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Arrows blew past the Cardinals 14-3. The Arrows might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by ten  runs or more this season.
 Mariah Moeller spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Amyra Mahik was a standout: she got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  two  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Addison Draper, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Pipestone was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .500 or higher in three consecutive  games.
Pipestone's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Luverne, their defeat  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 5-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pipestone will square off against Jackson County Central at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Arrows surely won't give up without a fight. As for Luverne, they will venture away from home to  square off against Fairmont  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
