Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Knights vs. Blessed Trinity Titans + How To Watch

The Centennial Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Blessed Trinity Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 6.

On Tuesday, Centennial came up short against Norcross and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Blessed Trinity faced Walton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Titans fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Blessed Trinity sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 15-10.

Centennial will have to keep a close watch on Ruby McDermott and Felicia Torrico, a pair of players who had a big impact on Blessed Trinity's prior game. McDermott had ten digs and one assist, while Torrico had six digs and two aces.

Blessed Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 30-10. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-17.

Centennial might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Blessed Trinity when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
