Volleyball Recap: Ulysses Comes Up Short

Ulysses lost against Goodland back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Cowboys. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Ulysses ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17.

Ulysses' loss dropped their record down to 10-20-3. As for Goodland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Ulysses will head out to challenge Hugoton at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Goodland, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Cimarron on the 11th.
