Basketball Recap: Grapevine Piles Up the Points Against Jefferson

Grapevine had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 58-25 win over Jefferson.

Despite the defeat, Jefferson had strong showings from Michael Saldana, who posted ten points, and Player #22, who scored three points. Thanks to that strong game, Saldana now owns an excellent 41.7% three-point shooting accuracy.

Grapevine's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Jefferson, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Looking ahead, Grapevine will challenge Ranchview at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-15 loss against Central Catholic on the 24th.
