Hedgesville is hoping to do what John Marshall couldn't on Friday: put an end to Washington's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Washington snuck past John Marshall with a 40-36 win. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Washington's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaah Beard led the charge by picking up 265 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Beard showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 62 yards. Braylon Holmes also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Washington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 261 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 200 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Washington's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Kyree Brooks and Javon Jones. Isaiah Osafo-Mensah was another major factor on D, making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
