Basketball Recap: Cleveland Heights Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Cleveland Heights lost against Brunswick back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cleveland Heights Tigers took a hard 68-53 fall against the Brunswick Blue Devils.

Despite the loss, Cleveland Heights still got an impressive performance from Jayquan Stubbs, who went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Armstrong, who went 7 of 17 en route to 14 points and seven boards.

Cleveland Heights' loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-8. As for Brunswick, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cleveland Heights Tigers take on the Mentor Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cleveland Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.6 points per game this season. As for Brunswick, they will challenge Medina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Brunswick's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games.
