Baseball Recap: Cheatham County Central Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hunters Lane last Friday, Cheatham County Central came back down to earth. The Cubs came up short against the Sycamore War Eagles on Wednesday, falling 21-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-0 defeat on April 14th.

Cheatham County Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Canada, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Cheatham County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Sycamore, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-16.

As of now, neither Cheatham County Central nor the War Eagles have any future games scheduled.
