Follett came into Tuesday's match having lost 16 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 27-26 victory over the Miami Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Follett's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for Miami, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

As for Miami, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Elliott will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Miami surely won't give up without a fight.
