Football Recap: Villa Park Victorious

Villa Park got themselves on the board against Troy on Wednesday, but Troy never followed suit. They walked away with a 12-0 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Villa Park now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Troy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Villa Park is set to challenge their familiar foe El Toro at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Spartans 8.1, the Chargers 11.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Troy will face off against rival El Modena at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
