Football Recap: Beau Chene Takes a Loss

After soaring to 58 points the game before, Beau Chene was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They had to suffer through a 50-10 loss at the hands of the Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 55-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Beau Chene's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beau Chene will square off against Livonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Gators' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they will challenge Lafayette Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 36.2 points per game this season.
