Ballard entered their tilt with Nevada on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Cubs 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Bombers, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ballard pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Nevada, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Coincidentally, Ballard and Nevada will both be playing Gilbert the next time they take the field. The Bombers will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cubs will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
