Southeastern Local waltzed into their game on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the West Jefferson Roughriders as they made off with a 72-47 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.

Southeastern Local's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for West Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Southeastern Local and Springfield will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. As for West Jefferson, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Madison Plains at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Madison Plains will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something West Jefferson surely won't give up without a fight.
