Softball Recap: Terrell Tigers vs. Midlothian Panthers
Terrell extended their losing streak to 14 on Friday, dropping them down to 9-23. They lost 17-2 to the Midlothian Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 back in March.
Terrell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Gebhauer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.
As for Midlothian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-10-2 record this season. The result was nothing new for Midlothian, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.
On Midlothian's side, they got a massive performance out of Aubrey Robledo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Robledo has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Martinez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Terrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Midlothian, they will take on Cleburne at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
