Baseball Recap: Lake Region Takes a Loss

Lake Region lost against Lakeland back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lake Region Thunder fell 7-4 to the Lakeland Dreadnaughts. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Region saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dan Colon, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that Colon's hit this season.

Lake Region's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lakeland, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Lake Region will be playing at home against Ridge Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they have already played their next game, a 7-6 loss against Mulberry on the 20th.
