Thunderbird posted their closest win since December 6, 2023 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Shadow Mountain Matadors out 54-52. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-53 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Shadow Mountain lost, don't look at Cory Lamb-Jones. Despite the final result, he posted 20 points. That was a full 38.5% of Shadow Mountain's points, marking the third time in a row Lamb-Jones has scored more than a third of the team's points. Pierce Rogers was another key player, putting up ten points.

Thunderbird is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for Shadow Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 16 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
