Softball Recap: Cranberry Area Comes Up Short

The Cranberry Area Berries came up short against the Rowan County Vikings on Thursday and fell 6-2.

Cranberry Area saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Stewart, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Cranberry Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rowan County, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cranberry Area will take on Independence at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rowan County, they will square off against Boyd County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
