Basketball Preview: West Essex Knights vs. Central Blue Devils
West Essex has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Central Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (West Essex is ranked 96th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 78th).
Last Saturday, West Essex was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-43 to the Hillbillies. That's two games in a row now that West Essex has lost by exactly four points.
Meanwhile, Central was beaten by the Mountaineers 62-35 on Saturday. Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Essex came up short against the Blue Devils when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 60-55. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Central's Faith Fedd-Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 18 rebounds.
