Baseball Recap: Maypearl Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Maypearl had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Llano Yellowjackets 9-2. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Maypearl's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Llano, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Maypearl will venture away from home to face off against Burnet at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Llano will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hyde Park at 12:00 p.m. on March 18th.
