Millry entered their tilt with Sweet Water on Monday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Millry had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-13, 25-19, 25-18.

LillyAnne Doggette paced Millry's offense, picking up 20 kills. Doggette got some help from Sawyar Brown and her 46 assists. Doggette was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Millry's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Sweet Water, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millry will host McIntosh at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sweet Water, they will welcome Leroy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
