It was a good run, but Highland Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Edison Tommies by a score of 2-0. The Scots were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Tommies' pitchers proved too tough.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Edison, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
