Volleyball Preview: Dominion Titans vs. Heritage Pride
Dominion has gone 9-1 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dominion Titans will challenge the Heritage Pride at 6:00 p.m. Dominion will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Last Wednesday, Dominion got the win against Loudoun Valley by a conclusive 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-9.
Dominion had a senior duo take command as Juliet Correll had 17 digs and two aces and Catalina Huerta had seven digs and four aces.
They weren't the only good server: Dominion was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 35 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Heritage hadn't done well against Rock Ridge recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Heritage won by a set and slipped past Rock Ridge 3-2.
