Soccer Recap: Middleton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Meridian on Friday, Middleton came back down to earth. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caldwell Cougars on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Middleton in their meetings with Caldwell: they've now lost six in a row.

Middleton's goal came courtesy of Jarrit Byers, which was the first he's scored this season.

Middleton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Middleton will host Ridgevue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caldwell, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The match will give Caldwell their first taste of in-conference action this season.
