Football Recap: Servite Friars vs. Mater Dei Monarchs        
        
		
             Servite and Mater Dei (ranked 31st and first in the MaxPreps national rankings respectively) squared off in a high-profile  contest on Friday. The Servite Friars came up short against  the Mater Dei Monarchs, falling  28-6. It was the first time  this season that the Friars let down their fans at home.

 Servite will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John Bosco  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Servite's defense has only allowed 11.9  points per game  this season, so St. John Bosco's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mater Dei, they will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against JSerra Catholic at 7:00  p.m. Mater Dei is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 34  points per game  this season.
