Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Blue Ridge Raiders. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-3, 25-17.

Blue Ridge can attribute much of their success to Bryce Conklin, who had seven digs and three aces.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Blue Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to square off against their familiar foe North Pocono at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blue Ridge will challenge rival Elk Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
