Upper Merion Area is 0-10 against Phoenixville since March of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Phantoms at 4:00 p.m.

Upper Merion Area couldn't beat Spring-Ford on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the first inning. The Vikings fell just short of the Rams by a score of 6-5. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Rams 5-0 in the first period.

Upper Merion Area got a good showing from Tristan Fanning, who tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Fanning has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is 4-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

On the hitting side, David Peck was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
