Basketball Recap: Old Suwanee Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Old Suwanee Christian's strategy against Kings Way Christian School on Tuesday. The Old Suwanee Christian Conquerors walked away with an 87-75 victory over the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders. The win was some much needed relief for the Conquerors as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Hayman, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jed Yarnall, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 boards.

Old Suwanee Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9. As for Kings Way Christian School, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Old Suwanee Christian will take on Peoples Baptist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kings Way Christian School, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
