On Tuesday, Holdrege got the W thanks in part to Wyatt Pfeifer playing the best basketball he has all season. Pfeifer went 5 for 6 on his way to 16 points and three steals. The performance marked the most steals he has had since back in December of 2023. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Pfeifer and Holdrege will challenge Valentine at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Dusters got just the result they wanted when they last faced Valentine, probably because Pfeifer had a solid game then too: he went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points.
