Volleyball Recap: Kinlee Sanchez Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Sedan

Eureka won the last time they faced Sedan and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Devils by a score of 2-0.

Eureka easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-4, 25-18.

Eureka got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinlee Sanchez out in front who had seven digs and two aces.

Sanchez wasn't the only good servers: Eureka was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last eight matchups.

Eureka has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record this season. As for Sedan, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-16-1.

Coincidentally, Eureka and Sedan will both be playing Neodesha the next time they take the court. The Devils will head out to face the Blue Streaks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tornadoes will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
