Recap: Imagine School at North Port Sharks vs. Bishop Verot Vikings        
        
		
            
 The Imagine School at North Port Sharks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. Their  rough  68-46 loss to Bishop Verot  might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Imagine School at North Port can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 534th, while Bishop Verot is ranked 90th).
 Imagine School at North Port's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Angelo Blas, who  scored 13 points along with seven  assists and seven  rebounds. Blas has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played.  Zahmir Jackson was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 Bishop Verot's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Gavin Williams, who  scored 27 points along with three  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Leroy Roker, who  dropped  a triple-double on 15 points, 11  rebounds, and ten  assists.
 Imagine School at North Port has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost seven of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Bishop Verot, their victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Imagine School at North Port will play host again and welcome The Classical Academy of Sarasota, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Classical Academy of Sarasota has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5. Bishop Verot won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Southwest Florida Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on January 11th. Southwest Florida Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
