Volleyball Recap: Forest Extends Winning Streak to Three

Forest waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Vanguard Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Forest walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-21.

Forest got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Owens out in front who had nine digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah McDonnell, who had four aces and three digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Forest was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Forest's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Vanguard, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Forest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Meadowbrook Academy on the 2nd. As for Vanguard, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Belleview on the 2nd.
