Chaska is 8-2 against Jefferson since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will be playing at home against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Chaska is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Wednesday, Chaska was able to grind out a solid win over St. Louis Park, taking the game 10-5.

Kennedy typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Jefferson proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 5-3.

Max Kocur was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

In other batting news, Hunter Gess was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Ike Nolte also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Chaska, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.

Everything went Chaska's way against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in April, as Chaska made off with an 11-0 win. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
