Basketball Recap: Dunseith Takes a Loss

Dunseith came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through an 86-51 loss at the hands of the Bottineau Braves/Stars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 79-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Dunseith's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10. As for Bottineau, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Dunseith will be playing in front of their home fans against Des Lacs-Burlington at 4:15 a.m. on Friday. Des Lacs-Burlington will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dunseith surely won't give up without a fight. Bottineau has already played their next contest (against Dickinson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
