Football Recap: Central Chargers vs. Westside Seminoles
Central kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Westside Seminoles. The Chargers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.
Taylor Talton looked great while leading her team to the win, throwing for 74 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Pike County at 5:00 p.m. on November 4th. As for Westside, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 27-0 victory against Mount de Sales Academy on the 24th.
