Baseball Recap: Tuscarora Huskies vs. Varsity Opponent
Tuscarora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Varsity Opponent, falling 11-5.
Tuscarora got a good showing from Ethan Johnson, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Johnson has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Connor Quill was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Kozikowski, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
