Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pine View on Tuesday, Hurricane came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Desert Hills Thunder on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Thunder: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-16.

Berkely Seymour paced Hurricane's offense, picking up four kills. Seymour got some help from Teuila Alualu and her eight assists. Eliza Watts controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hurricane's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Desert Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Hurricane didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Spanish Fork on the 15th. As for Desert Hills, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Marymount on the 15th.
