Softball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short

Eastmark came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-6 to the Crismon Rattlers. The Firebirds' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Makenzie Bozeman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmine Boling, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Eastmark's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Crismon, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

While Eastmark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
