Basketball Recap: Wamego Takes a Loss

Wamego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 58-51 to the Buhler Crusaders.

It was another big night for Jacob Miller, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds for Buhler. Jared Miller was another key player, putting up nine points.

Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Buhler, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

Wamego and Buhler could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Wamego will face off against Rock Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday down 179 places (213 vs. 34). Meanwhile, Buhler (ranked 254th) will meet Hesston (ranked 26th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
