Basketball Recap: Rogers Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Rogers lost against Emerald Ridge back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rogers Rams took a 51-35 bruising from the Emerald Ridge Jaguars. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rogers' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Emerald Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Rogers and Emerald Ridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Rogers (ranked 83rd) will meet Curtis (ranked 244th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rogers is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Similarly, Emerald Ridge will challenge Puyallup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 139 places (32 vs. 171).
