Dayton came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Amity Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. While the Pirates didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Amity, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, Dayton and Amity will both be playing Banks the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Braves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
