Maxwell won the last time they faced Hamilton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Braves by a score of 5-1.

Massey Baker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Maxwell's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Jones, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Jones has posted since back in April of 2024. Another was Colt Montgomery, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Maxwell is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Hamilton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-9.

Maxwell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Willows on the 7th. Hopefully Hamilton paid attention to the Panthers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
