Softball Recap: Immanuel Drops Highest Score of Season Against Central Valley Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Immanuel). They never let the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 24-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won nine in a row.

Amanda Herrera made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Herrera was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Addison Efird was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. 'China' Moreno also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Immanuel always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .592. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Immanuel's record now sits at 12-5-2. As for Central Valley Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Immanuel didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Washington Union on the 24th. As for Central Valley Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Selma on the 25th.
